   As far as recent releases go, Aegyptus deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Fruity Notes alongside Ylang-Ylang, fresh and very easy to wear. The very first sniff is crisp Fruity Notes with Ylang-Ylang peeking through, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A friend passed me a decant of Aegyptus and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Powdery Notes and Oriental notes come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Fruity Notes with Ylang-Ylang peeking through, very much my kind of start. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of Aegyptus after reading the community buzz. The heart is the best part for me: Spices and Blue Lotus feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Spices with Blue Lotus comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
