   For a 2019 release, Soleil Neige deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Bergamot and Carrot Seeds — bright and immediately recognizable. The heart is the best part for me: White Flowers and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Soleil Neige. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Carrot Seeds — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into White Flowers with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I picked up Soleil Neige (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Benzoin and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Carrot Seeds, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Carrot Seeds, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Carrot Seeds impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
