   I have owned Chrome Pure for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Tonka Bean and Mate — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Chrome Pure, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Watery Notes with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I’ve been wearing Chrome Pure on and off for a few weeks now (2017). The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Watery Notes and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I wanted to like it more than I did.
