   For a 2005 release, Chance Eau de Parfum deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper, very much my kind of start. Give it a little time and Jasmine with Iris comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

The opening is built around Pink Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Everyone keeps talking about Chance Eau de Parfum, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Iris, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The opening is built around Pink Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

    I picked up Chance Eau de Parfum (2005) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, Patchouli and Musk come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
