   I’ve been wearing Gentlemen Only Absolute on and off for a few weeks now (2016). Right away I get mostly Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Cinnamon with Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A decant of Gentlemen Only Absolute sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The opening is built around Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Vanila and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of Gentlemen Only Absolute (2016) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Cinnamon and Nutmeg feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Vanila plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Right away I get mostly Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
