   I’ve been wearing Oxygene on and off for a few weeks now (2000). The drydown leans on Musk plus Iris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Milk with Gardenia, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Oxygene, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Milk with Gardenia, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Milk with Gardenia comes forward — smooth and well done. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Lanvin experience was this one, Oxygene (2000). The first minutes are all about Indian White Pepper with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. As it settles, Musk and Iris come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I keep reaching for Oxygene more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Indian White Pepper with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Indian White Pepper with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   Picked up a sample of Oxygene after reading the community buzz (2000). Right away I get mostly Indian White Pepper alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Musk and Iris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The opening is built around Indian White Pepper and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
