   I picked up Hayaati (2020) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Cinnamon with Woodsy Notes comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Musk plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2020 release, Hayaati deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Apple/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cinnamon with Woodsy Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. The composition is well made but not for me.

That first spray gives a lovely Apple/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   A decant of Hayaati sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The base rests on Musk and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Apple with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

The first minutes are all about Apple with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   My first Lattafa Perfumes experience was this one, Hayaati (2020). As it settles, Musk and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. The heart is the best part for me: Cinnamon and Woodsy Notes feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
