   I have owned Herbae for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The base rests on Grass and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Grass and Musk come through and give it real depth. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   L’Occitane en Provence knows how to compose, and Herbae (2019) is proof. The drydown leans on Grass plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Pink Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Herbae (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Blackberry with Nettle Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Pink Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Pink Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I keep reaching for Herbae more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Blackberry and Nettle Blossom feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Blackberry with Nettle Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I have owned Herbae for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Pink Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Grass and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
