My first Marc Jacobs experience was this one, Bang (2010). The base rests on Vetyver and Elemi resin — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Vetyver plus Elemi resin and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

Marc Jacobs knows how to compose, and Bang (2010) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Woodsy Notes feel carefully balanced. As it settles, Vetyver and Elemi resin come through and give it real depth. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I keep reaching for Bang more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Woodsy Notes feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Woodsy Notes comes forward — smooth and well done. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

I’ve been wearing Bang on and off for a few weeks now (2010). That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Pepperwood™ impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Vetyver plus Elemi resin and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I keep reaching for Bang more than I expected to. Give it a little time and Woodsy Notes comes forward — smooth and well done. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Pepperwood™ — bright and immediately recognizable. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Bang. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Pepperwood™ peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Woodsy Notes feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I wanted to like it more than I did.

I have owned Bang for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Pepperwood™ — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Woodsy Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Picked up a sample of Bang after reading the community buzz (2010). The heart is the best part for me: Woodsy Notes feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Pepperwood™ — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Pepperwood™ — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I keep reaching for Bang more than I expected to. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Pepperwood™ — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Pepperwood™ impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

For a 2010 release, Bang deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Vetyver and Elemi resin — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Pepperwood™ — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

My first Marc Jacobs experience was this one, Bang (2010). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Woodsy Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Pepperwood™, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
