   Prada knows how to compose, and Paradoxe Virtual Flower (2024) is proof. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Neroli feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. The composition is well made but not for me.

   For a 2024 release, Paradoxe Virtual Flower deserves more attention than it gets. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Neroli feel carefully balanced. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot, very much my kind of start. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A couple of wears in, Paradoxe Virtual Flower has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Neroli, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Musk plus Ambrette and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. The composition is well made but not for me.

The base rests on Musk and Ambrette — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Prada experience was this one, Paradoxe Virtual Flower (2024). That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I would happily buy a full bottle.
