   I picked up Santal Blanc (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Musk and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. The first minutes are all about Fig Nectar with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   My first Van Cleef & Arpels experience was this one, Santal Blanc (2019). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sandalwood with Violet, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Sandalwood and Violet feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   Picked up a sample of Santal Blanc after reading the community buzz (2019). The first minutes are all about Fig Nectar with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sandalwood with Violet, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

Right away I get mostly Fig Nectar alongside Mandarin Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
