Giorgio Armani knows how to compose, and Armani Code (2004) is proof. The opening is built around Lemon and Bergamot β€” bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Leather plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done β€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

I keep reaching for Armani Code more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Lemon/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, Leather and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

For a 2004 release, Armani Code deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Lemon with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Leather and Tonka Bean β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

A friend passed me a decant of Armani Code (2004) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Star Anise with Olive Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Lemon and Bergamot β€” bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

I have owned Armani Code for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Leather and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Leather plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I would happily buy a full bottle.

Picked up a sample of Armani Code after reading the community buzz (2004). The drydown leans on Leather plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Star Anise with Olive Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Armani Code. That first spray gives a lovely Lemon/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The first minutes are all about Lemon with a hint of Bergamot β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

A decant of Armani Code sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Star Anise and Olive Blossom feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Leather plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

Giorgio Armani knows how to compose, and Armani Code (2004) is proof. The drydown leans on Leather plus Tonka Bean and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
