   A decant of Uden Overdose sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Lemon with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Lemon with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I picked up Uden Overdose (2018) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Lemon and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Lemon with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Uden Overdose. As it settles, Amber and Musk come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Amber and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

The heart is the best part for me: Ginger and Tobacco Blossom feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The opening is built around Lemon and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of Uden Overdose (2018) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Lemon/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
